Or more likely, the load prematurely released / or the line broke / or the remore hook failed / and that abrupt release of tension sling shoted the line up into the rotor system. |

If so...I would be interested to know the rope fiber and strength/load ratio. Nylon elongates 7% at 20% of break strength. The UHMPE ropes used now are 1-2% at 20% of break And typically utilized that much lower load ratios. I've seen and have videos of several remote hook releases with zero recoil for that reason. |
