Schweizer RSG in Fort Worth TX bought the type certificate in 2018.

Strange that when you click on the pilots link on that site and look at the NJ flight school, they are using a different type now.

Precision Aero in Oregon also ditched their fleet of 269/300 aircraft and moved to a fleet of Cabri G2s.

My guess is that it had to do with decades of ownership changes (Hughes, Schweizer, Sikorsky, Lockheed, Schweizer RSG) and difficulty getting spares.  Good flight schools log a lot of hours, and need spares.  If you can't support your fleet, you get a new fleet.

In the Dallas area, they own and have rights to the 269 type certificate.
