fricking lithium batteries! IF you carry any kind of battery, put it in an appropriate container, even a zip-lock is better than nothing. Why I won't buy an EV now. And they're frickin' expensive, no environmental benefit overall and too short ranged for my drives.... |

I am all for saving the planet, but we are supposed to listen to these algore guys? Great idea, lets have all these rolling hazmat accidents that we won't be able to charge because the coal fire electric plants are closed and the windmills are frozen/broke/banned for killing speckled woodpeckers/ineffective etc.. It won't help anyway because CHY-na and russia, russia, russia are polluting at max blast, and Greta won't say a word to them about it. |

Not all lithium batteries are equal! LiFePo4 are about as safe as you can get. Other chemistrys not so much! Also, quality of construction counts! As far as your worries about EVs just remember, every gallon of gas I don't burn is available for you to burn! You're welcome! |
