manager can raise rent. I'm sure there is an airport board that would have to approve that. You probably listen to too many rumors.

FAA don't care about what an airport charges and rates are not set by the airport manager. Most local airport fees are set by the county or city that ownes them. |

fully how the system works. Yes, they can and do. Plus institute crazy charges and raise prices of fuel along with coming up with ways to make your life diffuclt. Like refusing to let you wash your aircraft because it is an EPA hazard while their maintenance facility does. It can and does happen. And they can raise the rents to make you go away. Sorry if this conflicts with your ideal airport community image. An airport manager can make or break the airport and cover his butt with the county higher ups. |

And, with Biden's recent "Buiild Back Better" $1.3 Trillion airport infrastructure "plan", they won't see any grant money if they discriminate unfairly. Report the airport the FAA and they will be blacklisted from any free cash money! |

I most certainly do. I own a hangar and operate an aviation maintenance business From it. All financial dealings, land lease contracts and insurance issues are dealt directly with the county that owns the airport. The manager has no input. |

Own the hangar? I dare say you have a lifetime lease. 50, 75 years, and then it reverts back to the airport, if it is a public airport. |
