Only one company I know that flys all black 500’s with red lettering on the tail or what’s left of the tail. But a 500 sitting upright with the landing pretty much normal is not common in 500 hard landings so it must have gone better than expected. |

The "explosion" probably did not cause the tail boom to detach. In the picture the tail boom is where you would expect it to be if it were severed by the blades while landing. The blades also exhibit that type of damage. |

Those Popsicle stick Rotor blades are tougher than Krytonite. Tail boom materials ( not so much ). |
