ur self a favor and compare the military the people of the US is strapped with, and how many veterans and especially disabled vets it has produced vice % population compared to the experience of other countries.  And, check out how many military foreign bases and outposts the US has compared to the rest of the freeloading world.  It's all relative and we're going bankrupt affording it.

If you haven't been on the ground trying to do the job of an infantryman for 18 months in a combat zone, then another two years flying over it supporting ground pounders, you may not quite have figured some things out.  I did, then I realized very few others have, and never will - that my friend is the problem; very few realize how revolting a battlefield happens to be.
