I was told duty rest requirements are you can fly 14 hours with 8 consecutive hours rest and return for 10 hours as long as you file for extension. Seems legit |

Nope. 8 hours 135. Now then part 91 24 hours a day. Now, mix those times. 135 flights for 7.9 then 91 for 10 more hours. Yes legal. But no 135 operator would ever pull that. Well maybe. Most operations manuals don’t allow such crap but it’s still legal until it violates an agreement from the FAA and and operator.
Can I fly 8 hours moving customers all night then long line log all day with another operator? |

Careless and reckless, what is and isn't reasonable, and what will totally get ya screwededddd in a court of law.
Reasonable is reasonable. Playing around with rules and regulations is wise to stay out of trouble but do your best to avoid reading in to them, ur likely to lose. |
