If the hospital is closing, why would there be a medical air ambulance operation to continue???
Sorry for the people losing their jobs, but NOT the operator!!! |

The AMC aircraft that was based there moved to a different hospital few months back. I think the entire place closes today. |

Its hard to believe that Brandywine was the first hospital in the area to operate a helicopter First a 206 L model, than a A109 third a BO105 Fourth a McDonald notar,
A lesson all good things come to an end.
Started with Fleet Helicopters, keystone then had its own 135. All gone

and although I worked for a competitor, Brand X, and was fully aware of the dreadful politics in Chester County, and the incorrect behavior of those politics, the Brandywine Operation did the right thing for Chester County, always available and very competitive. Hat off to all of them, good job.
Times change, as you say, but at least the employees of the BO105 operation, the longest lasting, should know and hold their heads high that they did a good job. |

Should they hold their heads high even though they were shut down for falsifying logs and other potentially disastrous maintenance issues, etc? |

there. Do your homework. There was no falsification. If that is wrong, where is the evidence? |

Proof? Are they still operating? Was the hangar locked down for over a month while they performed their investigation? Locked down to hospital administration, flight crews, everybody. Keep living in your dream world where you blame the hospital for shutting your program down. Lol |

was, after that local 135 operation was ended and transitioned to AMC. The questions arose on the transition, and to my knowledge proved to be lacking substance. |

The whole rural hospital complex of operations was bought out and AMC became the vendor. There was a transition period where some questions were raised but were proven not to be a problem, last I heard. |

AMC took over. The behind the scenes stuff is unknown to this poster. Suspect the support of the county was pretty much at the same level post - local 135 Sky FlightCare did a good job for sure but the back ground politics was very very much at question, for a long long long time.
Another way of saying it all finally came to a close. |

You're saying that background politics at the county is what shut the doors on Skycare? Even though one of the employees was also employed by the county in a high-level EMS position (and currently still is). lol Riiight... |
