How ironic this career has become. Scraping by for years just making enough to pay bills and save a little. Now, all hell breaks loose because aircraft are parked. I can make $1500+/day traveling to another base. For all the thanks I got for being the go-to guy for my first 20 years, I'll kindly say thanks, but no thanks. The shoe is finally on the other foot. |

How about you breakdown that 1500? Hourly rate, travel pay per diem, How much is left when you pay for hotel etc? |

base X 1.5, plus shift bonus (for now), plus per diem. Lodging is paid for, as is plane and or rental car/gas. I get travel to/ from 1.5. Not quite 1500 but pretty close. No editorial, it be what it be. |
