Yeah, dispatch, I am gonna turn down this trip because I am not comfortable with the weather 2 states away. And my turn signal is intermittant, the truck is out of service. Go drive a truck, it'll be the best six weeks of your life. |

The companies can polish that turd called trucking all they want, it's still a turd. If they really want to make a meaningful change, switch to an hourly wage not "per loaded mile". A lot of idle time is spent waiting on loading, unloading etc. especially at terminals and you're not getting paid. |
