I see the helicopter salaries section of this site has few companies listed. Do all of the companies under the GMR umbrella pay the same as Air Evec Lifeteam?

I don't know that this will be any help to you. But, back when they were all under AMGH they were not all on the same pay structure. I don't know about now that they are under GMR.

Just a word of caution. Those geo-mods are nice, but remember they can be taken away at any point. A few years ago, AEL pilots got a significant raise in pay. However, at the same time, most of the geo-modifiers were taken away as well. Many of the pilots who worked at a base with a significant geo-modifier wound up seeing negligible gains in their take-home pay due to the loss of their geo-mod canceling out the effect of their raise. Just something to be aware of when negotiating your salary should you choose to take an offer from AEL.

Currently the answer is no. Not all GMR certificates have the same pay scales. Many have Geo-mods, others have similar to AMC which is based directlynon cost of living in the area and others it's called a market adjuster.

Thwre will be a point where all the companies are off the same pay scale. Likely with a local adjuster based on cost of living and hard to fill etc.

Some offer additional pay for IFR, ATP, Lead Pilot, Safety Rep and so on. Others don't. GMR is working towards its goal of One GMR. So like I said, in the future it'll be the same across companies.

I know the company I work for and is probably true for the rest of GMR, we just saw the locality pay(market adjuster, cost of living) go up, pretty significantl.

In all my years here. I have never ever seen those go down. Gone up twice so far. I'll tell you, if they were to ever reduce that pay the blow back would be huge and kill morale. So it won't happen.

My understanding is Reach and Med-Trans pay is very similar and AEL is the lowest. Reach offers pretty high adjuster for California bases. Will it be enough? Shall see. California housing is sky rocketing so fast there is no end in sight. A 1500 square foot house in a decent area in Central Valley will set you back $400,000 plus with the median home cost is over $700,000. Rent for similar homes is $2500+ a month.

Our base lost all Geo-mod pay two years ago, and AEL capped some of the older pilots to a measly 2% annual raise.  And with 7% inflation, property taxes, medical and vehicle insurance increases my family basically took a $14k loss last year.  I wonder if I can write that off on my Federal Taxes?

is a very large set back.  Hope you can adjust or make it up somehow.  Be interesting if you do and how.
