the railroad actually controls and monitors rail movement. The engineer just doesn't sign out a train and hit the road for the day. That's how they keep those trains from hitting each other. And yes, those railroads have telephones and radios. The more you know... |

Is identifying who actual owns the track...its not usually the first 3 railroad companies you call. Once you do that you have to get ahold of someone who can get ahold of the conductor. Thats not usually the person who answered the phone. It takes more than a minute. |

Plus, the cops dispatchers have the railroad ops center on speed dial. But, you'd thing with all the emergency lights on the FD and Police cars,, the train engineer would slow down and stop BEFORE he barrels into the scene at 60+ MPH |

I love how that train horn was just blaring like " I'm gonna get you F$#%s!"
Then it looked like the thing never even slowed down. Bet he sped up even.
The real question is did he even bother to stop the train afterwards or just continue on to his destination like it was just a routine day in the hood.
