is the Mil-Spec for hydraulic fluid, or something like that. U know that I assume. 5606 wasn't allowed to weep/seep much. No hydraulics of course means trouble, what's equally concerning is 5606 flammability. |

got to do smokie but did sniffer and LL VR in UH1C, long line, rope ladder, night S&D, Medevac and others. Very long year. FOB last six months. 50+ years ago and seems like yesterday. I don't remember my 48 years of civil aviation that well but had fun. Sure wish pilots these days are able to enjoy their work like we did but kinda think that is fading from the aviation picture. |
