of the bullet going past the head (again, missed) sucked the eyes right out of the head and killed the deer instantly. I'm sold, getting one because I probably sûck at hitting the target. |

what's amazing is you morons who somehow see a difference in the caliber and type of firearm that is used to end a life. Getting shot by a semi-automatic, high capacity pistol is tragic...a revolver is somehow acceptable. The deer is having a good day chomping on some grass and then the lights go out. It doesn't matter if it was a muzzle loader or a 50 cal. It's just a bullet going fast. Now you is...now you ain't. You clowns don't have a problem slamming those In&Out sliders that started out in a slaughter house. Take a tour of one and see how wonderful that experience is.

Don't like it that some private citizens own and use a .50BMG ? There is no basis for taking away all guns and prevent free people from putting food on the table there, or anywhere else. |

Guy is a Jerk, besides being a Clown. Can't hit the target means: Too Much Gun. He should be banned from hunting until he completes a Hunter Education Course and Basic Marksmanship Training and can qualify to hit a Deer target at 100 yards with a real deer rifle, i.e., a .30-30. Any Jerk that takes a .50 BMG to a Deer stand is attempting to compensate for something else that is small. Get it? |

Proven false. If the deer were right next to the muzzle of the weapon when fired the explosion of excess trapped energy not taken up by the projectile would definitely adversely affect the deer's hearing and other soft tissues about the head, obviously including the eyes, but down range that projo is decelerating and wouldn't ruffle a feather if it passed right next to it. That's not to say whatever it hits is going to have a pleasant time of it. F=MA, 700 grains doing, say, 2700fps, well, you all are very smart. |
