Hard to watch and listen to KTEB - even up to the last moments the Capt gave the impression to tower he was on top of it, but in the cockpit it was clearly a different story. When the SIC over loaded, lesson was over.

solution to arrogance is to develop a quiet sense of desperation to stay ahead of the airplane. IT, can very easily kill you and all on board. Any incapacity, neglect or whatever, which we all have touches of here and there in our heads and lives, should be evidence enough to each pilot that you'd best be at least quietly focused to take positive action at the slightest hint of it being needed. Don't dismiss little indicators, they're the hints something difficult may be coming. Stay ahead of the machine. |
