Aviation wages lagging behind +14/-2

Aviation wages are lagging behind, there have been many minimum wage jobs that have increased pay by 10 bucks an hour or more in the past year and more to follow. Unless some of you have had a pay increase of that size in the past year I would say that aviation is lagging behind, we are losing money with how fast the cost of living is going up. |

Has the cost of your food gone up 40%? Are your grocery bills up 40% from last year? Gas prices fluctuate, and it's up yes, but it seems like it's up to where it has been before. If gas is $4.00 a gallon at the start of 2022 do you really think that it'll be $5.60 by the end of 2022? (40% increase) |

What's worse is empty shelves on food and products we were used to buying. As for energy, the last 40% run up has already done it's damage, let alone another 40% run up on top of that. Why are you carrying water? These run ups have not been seen since '82. It's a real problem for the public. You minimizing it isn't helping. |

Rural texas is paying $16 / hour for fast food workers everywhere no high school needed , I can barely get twice that after college, military, flying EMS for a decade . bet they outpace me working there 10 years |
