You only get 5 days if you start before Jan 1st. Start after Jan 1st and you get no vacation the first year.

Not true anymore. Metro is changing their PTO policy. It is now an accrual process and first year pilots will start accruing immediately.

So the more this stupid fake virus crap rages on.....the more they pay people to stay home and do nothing....the more fellas see no reason to get a real job and learn a trade.....because sally shows them zero interest and only wants to screw Chad....you'll be asked to work, no, expected to work more ot to cover shifts and cover their inability to hire new skilled labor to fill the gaps. 

 

there is zero.  I mean zero younger talent coming up through the ranks at the big P.  I'm an older gen X'r on the verge of forced retirement who is highly specialized working in a rare field.  They have no prospects, none younger than me to fill my shoes if I quit tomorrow.  We are a dying breed.  What happens when I'm gone and replaced with an older, less motivated, less educated, loser who's been skating by underneath the umbrella of the 145 hangar?  Good luck is all I can say.

Not all HEMS jobs are 7&7. Some companies try to only give 4 days off a month, and it is a complete cheap, bottom-feeding joke.
