Helicopter Pilot of Estepona helicopter accident in May, arrested for manslaughter and gross reckless homicide. 22 DEC 2021.

https://www.euroweeklynews.com/2021/12/24/pilot-of-estepona-helicopter-accident-in-may-arrested-for-manslaughter/

https://cvbj.biz/the-pilot-of-the-helicopter-that-crashed-after-taking-off-from-estepona-was-arrested-for-reckless-homicide.html

"It also came to light during the investigations that the detainee did not possess the relevant qualifications to pilot the aircraft, and that the helicopter’s airworthiness certificate had expired at the time of the incident."

The former Cuban military helicopter pilot passed himself off as an instructor ok but he shouldnt have a homicide charge for the lack of a VFR flight plan from a backyard, AWC expiration the subsequent engine failure. The killed passenger was the owner of the little death trap after all. I guess Spain is like America is now, guilty by association or guilty until proven innocent.

nobody has been found guilty of anything bro. not sure how you don't understand that

unclear who owned the aircraft

there should be consequences for passing yourself off as flight instructor and then crashing and killing somebody

I suppose you think this clown should be able to walk away after misrepresenting himself and lying his as off about the whole thing ever since

Lying about being a flight instructor and then crashing and killing somebody should be about the same as a parking ticket in my book.

he is being charged with the minor detail of pretending to be a flight instructor and killing somebody and not the flight plan or expired airworthiness. lol

Weak, bureaucratic Peter Principal types need to find fault and blame to convince the minions that they are effective leaders. Just look at U.S. or global politics for the last 25 years or further back if you like.  Everything must now be punitive and someone must be punished.

i.e. The 28 year old truck driver in Denver lost his truck going down a steep grade .  6 people were killed in the accident .  He was sentenced to 110 years in jail.  Reasons, he wasn't qualified because he had only been driving trucks for 3 years , was only 28 years old and didn't speak good English  and did not use the emergency truck ramp.

Kind of like one of us balling up an autorotation and a passenger getting hurt.  The fact you had to go into timber with 100 ft. trees would not even enter into the argument.  A good lawyer could prove you shouldn't have flown over that type of environment or that you weren't trained to handle that type of emergency.

Just because I'm paranoid , does not mean they are not out to get you !!  Fly safe.

That accidents are not criminally prosecuted. Your law and order bent is as crooked as it can be.

going to prison for 10 years for accidentally pulling her gun instead of taser. I'm sure it'll make her feel a lot better.
