Her income (gross) is less, but because of her occupation, her net is $750 more per month. So she is basing spousal support on that. What will court calculate off of? |

I spent years over seeing family law court. You sir; are hosed. At the end of it all you will be smarter and much less cash inclined. I’d say don’t fight too hard as the lawyers are the true winners. I’ve seen guys spend a $100,000 to fight over $300 a month spousal support. I also lost big in a divorce. Quit the courts to tramp around flying, took 10 years to recover financially and now going on 16 years thankfully unmarried. |

There's one good thing about working for AEL or PHI how does the court factor in you'll make less every year 😱. Anybody with a house and a car payment could send the ole lady $59 a month. The military dudes though have more to loose with two incomes and tricare. All kidding a side glad you made it through. Dang tough story . It's second income for me thankfully but bad news is I guess i have to keep the ole bag |

Go to court and get the best deal available on the sposal support, and any other interest. After its all said and done, just stop paying her. The worst that can happen is it gets turned into a collection agency. Your credit will be ruined, but you don’t have to pay her. Child support on the other hand can get you sent to jail if not paid (if she fights it). Good luck |
