This was posted on Facebook:  Banner Day. Anyone remember ol' Jerry Airola (Founder and CEO) of Silver State Helicopters fame? Quite a few of us were either personally burned by him and his partner(s) — or know someone who was.  Rather disturbing to find he keeps moving further east and reinventing himself every few years without nary a mention of his colossal failings. His latest incarnation is definitely far from the transparent honesty we would expect from someone running for public office such as a CONSTABLE!
 Buyer (or voter) beware! (Edit: We understand he is now "Chief Marshall" in Santa Clara, Texas).Again, we all make mistakes, and few if any are perfect, but Jerry and the gang sure could have done a LOT more to make right with the really awful situation they left for the students and employees of Silver State Helicopters. But he's apparently out there living his best life and has done little if any penitence for wrecking the lives of thousands of people. Seems a little shady how he took off and couldn't even be located at one point (as per rotorandwing).
Reportedly (we don't have a source) but Jerry and the SSH folks were rumored to be responsible for one of the largest personal debt cancellation/write-offs in the history of Capital One — hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars. Guess who probably wound up paying for that? Not Jerry.

A Jerry fan and I believe SSH screwed a lot of folks, but as the age old saying goes, Buyer Beware. You signed the contract. You could have opted to go to another school that doesnt force you to take the loan out and hand it over before your training has even started, but you did anyway. Why? Because you are just stupid. Maybe you should have read the fine print. |

The SSH practice is alive and reaping millions. Jerry was a a frontiersmen. His rip off is refined to a few companies using those GI government money programs to offer fools ‘real world’ jobs with 400 hours and a worthless degree from a not named Utah college. |
