New hires can start at level 5 on pay scale but I have seen AMC keep guys at current pay if your are above scale, and freeze your pay till the pay scale catches up with you. It all about what you can negotiate during your interview. Just hope no senior AMC guy wants your slot. It also helps if the hospital or Med Crew can put in a good work for you. If not you may be down the road. Good Luck.

if you are at a base already WORKING and AMC takes it over they will offer you a position within the company. IN most cases they will match your pay to whatever your making now...your a asset being at that base already working there and now the area....
