Relocating to Panama City Beach FL area after 20+ years as a test pilot for the glorius US govt and looking to grow network for continued flying opportunities. Most helicopter operators I'm seeing in this area are beach tour companies and the staple of HAA. Anyone familiar with the area and informed on other possible employers? |

I'm sure he has a lot of 135 and longline flying as a government test pilot. And like 135 time matters. |

Considering how often the subject of Part 91 vs Part 135 flights comes up on this forum it’s a safe bet that PLENTY of pilots don’t understand ‘the 4 different’ FARS.
Next, in the experience at my company is that pilots straight out of the military are not employable in utility.

USNTPS Grad. I'm sure I can learn other FARs, just another operating construct derived by people. Doesn't sound like there is much rotary wing in the area though. |

Ft Rucker is an hour north, lots of retired Marines and Squids teaching there. It's a good job for the Aging Aviator. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the studs. You've got be a team player though. |
