nobody would ever say that, bases close all the time. everybody knows that. you should never expect notice, either. a base that knows it's days are numbered is a safety risk. notice doesn't do anybody any good. |

industry which means certain things need to be done differently. too dangerous to stay open. pilots and clinicians will not be able to perform their duties competently under these circumstances. losing ones job is one of the most stressful things that can happen in a person's lifetime. they are always offered severance or a different location. you haven't thought through any of this and I don't expect you ever would because you're a moron. |

6 weeks notice given to NJ pilots when Met Trans closed the two bases. Offered any open slot nationwide or severance and unemployment. Also given a bonus to stay those last 6 weeks if you did not jump ship. MedTrans we're the best company I worked for. At least at the local level. |
