People leaving get better jobs and savvy executives can better identify who's desperate.

People more or less just sidestep jobs in this industry thanks to all the "I just do this for fun" mouthbreathers out there. Enjoy your disability or military retirement, but don't f##k over everyone else accepting s**t wages

I fly EMS because it's easy and allowes me to run two other businesses. You can't change what other people so change what your doing! Oh, and by the way. The door will hit me in the azz on this low paying job when the vaccine becomes mandatory. Best of luck to ya.

but these "better jobs" aren't just appearing out of nowhere. They're likely jobs that other people left because the jobs sucked.

Wages go down.

People quit.

Management panic.

Pay goes up.

I just ride the wave.

This wave is different though.

Pay is low and they are trying to force people to poison themselves.

Not a good combination for retention......

you get a percentage of the pay from the two guys next to you who quit.

And the 5 years of raises and COL that you missed, while everyone on the bottom (i.e. McDonalds)  got lifted up.

Profit is the money employees generate, but don't get. It has to be dipped into to lure two qualified pilots to fill the spots that were just vacated and prevent the loss of others who have almost had enough.

I agree, Mickey "D"s is a viable competitor for at least one helicopter company.

But there are profit sharing companies. And there are structures that compensate management for the money they personally generate via sales, billing, or otherwise.

money that is generated by the company minus the cost of production.

The employees do not provide the raw material or capital required for production.

But I'll bet your professor would be proud.

Just as raw material is a cost to a business, so is an employee's wages.  It's certainly not a fuC*ng charity donation you fuC*ing bootlicking idiot.

I'm sure you're professor from Trump University is very proud of you for regurgitating those trickle down economics.  By the way we're all still waiting for that trickle down for the last 30 years while the dollar does this:

Power has been eroded. Mostly it's from policies that you support. Doubling the national debt didn't help. Deficit budgeting and spending doesn't help. Monetizing the debt doesn't help. The Fed intervention doesn't help. All the frictions applied to free enterprise doesn't help. Regulations, inefficient and duplicated government work force doesn't help. High taxes don't help. Insane border policies don't help. Almost nothing you came up with financially, to support social programs didn't help. Almost nothing you did helped. Stop helping.
