They pay a lot higher than the competition out there. And even the managers of the competitions say the same thing PHI pays the highest.   Go apply at any of the competition and find out for yourself

the pay scale never changed. yes, they have a pay scale. missed raises that year but PHI still pays better than most. a new hire SPIFR with experience is a 100k job. tell about me all the other companies that pay that.

"the pay scale never changed"

I used to bleed my companies colors too, and was foolish to do so.

PHI isn't the only company that will start you out at 100k if you come in with SPIFR experience. The company I work for will start you at up to 105k with better benefits. You do have to put up with some bs though.

Pilot pay is comparable (little lower than Metro, little higher than Air Methods)

Mechanic pay falls short

this is not true, Metro took three of our local guys started  at 84k plus  benefits alone saved them 1000 month. Not flying worn out crap helicopters is possibly lifesaving

The only catch is you have to be able to put up with the BS and constant micromanagement if you sign on. Also the payoff is not all at once, 2.5K every six months for two years....if the new hire can last that long.

No No No    No shortage here.  I know several pilots over 5'6" and lots of mechanics/technicians over 6' tall.  Well above the Cajun 5'5" little man/big truck syndrome.  All good; yellow and black.

Unless you've been here 10 years plus move on as fast as you can. Bene go up $225 a month ( family medical)  per year wages are below industry and leadership blows and us unorganized. It is a friendly place to work if you find the right managemen. If not it's the worse place in the world with horrible base locations. I'm going back to methids as fast as I can. Anybody that post anything contrary to the medical benefits is not reading the plan there is no 750 plan availability and cost for 1500 plan went up 400 month . This year it went up 140 month plus add 100 spousal surcharg.
