What a stupid flex. I'll go fly circles around an airport in a robby for 6000 more hours so I can meet his "requirements"

It use to be all the pilots had 10K,  not sure if that's still true.  But yea, Jim has 27K.

Knew a pilot on Kauai that had over 20,000 hours of tour time there, and that was back in 2015. Had been flying there his entire career. Day, vfr. Groundhog Day, over and over.

Sounds like he enjoys his gig. What's wrong with looking at lush Hawaiian landscapes and the blue Pacific everyday!

4000 is nothing for most professional pilots.

The point being that 4000 hours is not a lot either, but hopefully at 4000 hours the pilot has done something more then fly a bunch of students or tourist around.  When you actually have to plan a flight or god forbid change your plan in mid-flight you won't freeze or blow up at your dispatcher or customer because there is a change.  Or you have the ability to actually except the change without compromising your aircraft or it's occupants.  It's good to have 2000 hours, but it's a long way from 10000 hours.

I'm at 7,000.If you haven't figured it out by a thousand, it's not going to happen. making a flight plan or changing a plan in mid flight? oh yeah, that's some seriously complicated stuff. you need 8000, minimum, to be able to master that without endangering everyone!? lol what the hell does "compromise the aircraft" even mean? What a retard...

I was flying somewhere and they told me to go somewhere else. Luckily, I had 10,000 hours, so I was able to do it without yelling at everyone and compromising the aircraft and occupants. I could have never done this with less than 5,000 hours.

Took off, severe clear, got lost immediately, found a landing area, in a confined area, and my hangar was in it. I didn't even have 2,000 hours yet.
