to pay such low wages that your employees have to use tax $$$ for food stamps. All while paying no taxes yourself and making billions in profit. |

are not taking crappy jobs which is a reason for a labor shortage. I guess you are trying to say that since there are workers available, there is no shortage of labor. That's like saying since there are a million warehouses filled with toilet paper but there isn't any for sale in the store, there isn't an a*swipe shortage. If I go to ten stores to buy some as*wipe and I can't find any, there is an as*wipe shortage. Because the truckers are on strike, I can't wipe myass: that's a toilet paper shortage, bro. |

The dollar's purchasing power. The trend is consistent with the exception of Bush being in office. The trend also aligns with increasing national debt. Any policy that increases inflation is the moral equivalent of theft of future wage earners. |

Related, and yes, that normal rate of inflation should be in the 1-2% range. Any policy that increases inflation out of that range is the moral equivalent of stealing from future wage earners. |

Loose monetary policy. Welfare, in almost all forms. Centralized planning. Centralized spending. Unfounded mandates. Funded mandates. Spurious regulatory policy. Unnecessary or redundant government departments. Among others, and just off the top of my head. Basically anything that acts like a friction to free enterprise. |

Abbreviate all the policies you insinuate don't exist. To recap:
Loose monetary policy. Welfare, in almost all forms. Centralized planning. Centralized spending. Unfunded mandates. Funded mandates. Spurious regulatory policy. Unnecessary or redundant government departments. Among others, and just off the top of my head. Basically anything that acts like a friction to free enterprise. |
