Naming conventions... everyone just has to be special.  Can you think of others to add to the list?

N1 vs Ng

Throttle vs Twist Grip

N2 vs NP vs Nf

NR vs RPMR vs %R

PCL vs ECL vs TCL

TOT vs TGT vs MGT vs EGT vs T4

DEC vs ECU vs DECU vs EECU vs FADEC

Actuall,  every single one of those has a different name because, surprisingly they're all different!
golly, who would've thought!

if you worked on the maintenance side you'd understand this... but your an entitled Millennial, so I don't imagine you'd understand anything.

believe it or not, there are a few smooth brained holdouts that insist calling a helicopter a ship, which is totally bizarre and not grounded in reality or linguistics or standard vernacular and must be stamped out

When maintenance takes 30 mins and then you sit at your PC for multiple hours trying to figure out how to input what you did, it's embarassing.

How is that better?

I agree with the side-stick.  A yoke is a really dumb design.
