Been looking at the job boards for twenty years and if there's one constant its page after page after page filled by HAA. That job must really suck.

It's the industry employing the most helicopter pilots in the US and every time a spot opens up at a base people actually want to work at there's a shuffle of pilots who get one step closer to where they want to be. 1 job opening can lead to 3-4 pilots moving, each with their own job opening. Entry level bases are always looking for people, looking at you New Mexico, Indiana, Texas, etc...

But the bases move a lot, so that attraction goes away pretty quick and new pilots are hired.

Or the base is toxic, pilots get tired of dealing with it.
