Been looking at the job boards for twenty years and if there's one constant its page after page after page filled by HAA.
That job must really suck. |

It's the industry employing the most helicopter pilots in the US and every time a spot opens up at a base people actually want to work at there's a shuffle of pilots who get one step closer to where they want to be. 1 job opening can lead to 3-4 pilots moving, each with their own job opening. Entry level bases are always looking for people, looking at you New Mexico, Indiana, Texas, etc... |

But the bases move a lot, so that attraction goes away pretty quick and new pilots are hired.
Or the base is toxic, pilots get tired of dealing with it. |
