I was amused to se the 60 taxiing around, amazed to see it flying. Was the dope on the rope being Spicast or hung?

Saw a report that the aircraft were all disabled. The blades removed and shipped home. All easily removable avionics removed and many of the AC had the engines removed and sent home. From there the AC were disabled. Same with the ground vehicles. Finally, contrary to reports, the weapons and ammo were NOT left there. But who really knows? Certainly cannot believe they'd leave guns and ammo for those goat ph uckers to use.

That meme with all the pics of all the stuff we supposedly "left behind" is a little misleading.  It actually represents all of the stuff we've given to the Afghanis over the last 20 years, not the stuff that we abandoned when we left.  I saw one video that showed a hangar with some CH-46's with their blades folded that look like they could be made ready for flight, but their engines may have been removed and they may have been from the Brits. (The meme does not indicated that we gave them any '46's.)  In any event, without tech support, none of that stuff will be airworthy for long.  YOU CAN BE SURE that the U.S. military (ahem) "disabled" as much of *our* stuff as they could before leaving.  Nevertheless, there's still a lot of guns and things that are now undoubtedly in Tally-Ban hands, and for that we must answer. 

Glad we got our boys outta there, but I sure wouldn't want to be an American stranded in Afghanistan right now.  Back when Trump announced our definite departure would have been a good time to di di mao.  But hey, we'd been there for 20 years already; there really was no strong reason to think it would really end.

Warhead ono or two set to 150 Kilotons should send the rats scurrying. But  the pu++ys in the pentagon and the white house and the southcom and joint chefs of staf have no balls.

Really sucks but at least we won't be spending 300 million dollars a day on a country that has jack s**t to do with our national interest. The stopping terrorism noise disregards the terrorist activity in Packistan, Yemen, Africa, Saudia Arabia, etc.

Our biggest threat is from the white nationalists in the good old USA, afterall, the latest attack was 6 Jan 2021.

Why do you think we needed to mitigate terror around the globe from the bases in Afghanistan to justify our presence there?  What's your logic?  Just because you don’t strike Yemen from Afghanistan doesn’t mean it’s not worthwhile to maintain military power there to influence other places.

Are you sure our presence in Afghanistan did not mitigate terror threats from Pakistan?  Most of us can think of at least one example...

What’s your source for the $300M/day?  Do you think that, or any other number, is fixed with no other options?
