The 4 bladed MD 500 tail rotor spun slower and had 2 oem blades offset by about 70degrees instead of 90 |

On certain Airbus models, the RPM changes through different phases of flight (both main and tail rotor). There is a diagram in the RFM that shows the decreased RPM in cruise flight reduces noise levels. When in a hover and a lot of pedal is added, the RPM automatically bumps up, increasing the noise. |

Yeah on the Ec130 right? The more power you pull the more tail rotor effectiveness youll get if I recall correctly. |
