Anyone here interested in a LH250 lightly used $1200. Norcal.

color, size, visor setup, coms, nvg adaptor, etc etc etc

Helmet is white the size is lg, xl & xxl I believe this is standard for the 250. Dual visor. No NVG adaptor.

Standard comms, Helicopter chord. Helmet bag. No scratches worn on maybe 10 ems flights.

I didn't like the fit so went back to my old sph5.

where you bought it about the fit. If your SP5 is more comfortable than a Gallet, there is something seriously wrong.

Its personal preference thats all, some people love the gallet some hate it same for the sph. does not automatically mean that something is seriously wrong.

in the world that prefers an SP5 over a Gallet.

Over priced, poor performance and cracking shells.

The gallet is not over priced. They are more expensive upfront yes, but Have you ever looked at each brand helmet's shell shelf life? Gentex has a 12 year shelf life and is supposed to expire at 12 years, no one knows how long an evo and paraclete will last because it has not been around as long and Gallet has a 15 shelf life and at that point it does not expire, they last over 20 years. So actually in the long run, Gallet is the cheapest helmet out there with the quality parts and communications. 

What don't you like about the performance?

The shells do not crack to the kevlar, they get hair line stress cracks from flxing the helmet to put on and take off your head. These are cosemetic, nothing to do with performance. 

To each in their own but maybe you should go in detail why you don't like it so everyone can understand.

I get the individual preference but the original poster simply offered his preference and got some negative feedback on his/her preference. 

If you account for the additional cost of the Gallet you can buy a lot of new shells. 

My expierence, lots of noise, doesnt fit well with glasses, not as comfortable for me.

If it works for you that is great. I am glad you found one that works.

Hated those things.  Waaaay too hot.  Got in to an SPH4 style ASAP.

If the company is paying for it I will take the LH250.

If I am paying for it I will take the SP5.  

Both are excellent pieces of equipment.

Soooo the helmet is still for sale. I was hoping someone on here would need one before I put it on ebay. I am negotiable on the price too. Thanks for looking and I also appreciate the intelligent replies.
