Question for the Mech/gurus out there....
Tail looks long on the B-model for some reason...or maybe it's just all I ever see are 407s now.
Q:
when they made the L model even the 407s did they keep the same length on the t-boom or did they re-engineer the boom for each model? Looks like the same basic boom to me... |

LTE was a big issue for bell, they did a good job minimizing it on the 407, but over time lost a few 407's.
The T/R could strike the boom with poor piloting skills. Especially during low RPM situations.
Simply speaking, a longer tail boom from the start, with the original T/R may have been good a good fix.
I not an engineer, but I did stay at the Holiday Inn last night. |

Low RPPM setting? 206 Series operates 97-100N2 when flying. I used to give the A/C 97-101 spread for hot/heavy/tight LZ's |
