Done that....after 320+ days a year in hotel rooms for 15 years, it gets quite old. If you survive it long enough, you'll never get any better experience. |

Will not do anything else in the helicopter industry that will hone your skills and keep you sharp with the amount of flying you do and the endurance it takes to maintain that skill set. What else you gonna do that you fly 8+ hrs a day every single day hanging out a door making Sure the spinny stuff stays away from the stationary stuff? |

I found it tedious and boring as well as dangerous. It's skills you don't need in any other flying job. It's really not beneficial to your career. As you said yourself, no other job requires it. What does "endurance to maintain your skill set" even mean? |

You dont go cry to your crew your neck or back hurts and you can't continue your day. If you did it then you should know, or maybe the lineman already retired you early because you couldn't keep up. |
