The one that fits you best.
I had a Gallet for years and loved it. Then my eyesight required glasses which would not fit inside the Gallet, so I tried the Alpha Eagle and love it more.
See if you can wear your helmet of choice around the house for a few hours before you take it in the cockpit and get it stinky, in case it has hot spots you cant live with. |

ive worn them all. If you're just flying around you can get away with any of them. But my pencil neck can only handle the gallet with a 2-3 fuel cycles with the longline.

I went from a pile of garbage comms, heavy and bulky Gentex to a Gallet. Seriously the best investment I've ever made. For longlining the weight alone is worth it. The bulk and able to actually not have every radio and audio panel turned all
the way up is a huge bonus! |

Alpha isn't DOI certified, from what I hear they are not going to sell it anymore.
Gallet is def your lightest weight and smallest profile. If you do wear glass then they can adjust the pads in your helmet to ensure the inner visor comes down! Easy fix!~ They did it for me and it was perfect
The folks at Merit are very knowledgeable and great customer service.
Good luck! |
