Our piston and turbine RFM are nice on the shelf at the office. Why take them flying when you can use that weight in fuel. The FAA has never come round our hangar before so I use them as study material inside the office.
Can I get a heck yeah? |

Weight in fuel? It's that critical? How much did it weigh, 3 lbs? |

not every organization has a "program" and a "base".
There's a big world out there sport, and you're just in one little niche. |

I agree with your sentiment here Pops. It is comical for some one to ask for the program and base. Yup, a bit naive.
BUT.. one little niche? Theres over 1000 air ambos in the USA. Going to go out on a limb here and say that's a little more then a niche.

its due to sticklers such as yourselves that the job can routinely not "get done". It is a paper brick, nothing else. |

...unlike the Feds, the Companies, and you Clowns. Put it on the iPad and save those 5 pounds of paper. While ur at it, get rid of the CAMTS mandated trash that some strap hanger thought was a good idea after watching Top Gun, but which just isn't needed and is never used. You can quibble, but nibble by nibble we are eating up the useful load of these aircraft, eliminating their capacity to do work, and cutting our power/safety margin. Nobody listens to the operators who do the damned job and whose a s s e s are on the line. This isn't good. |
