Take stipend Divided by 26 that will be added to your pay. Keep in mind all overtime will be calculated on your base pay. |

Just had one last month. HR recruiter will confirm the information that you put on your computer application, make sure you meet the basic requirements (flight time, current medical, etc.) and clarify any questions THEY may have regarding you. Example of a question she asked me, "I see you worked for us 3 years ago. Why did you leave then and why do you want to come back?" Basic stuff like that. Very laid back interview. Be yourself and answer the questions truthfully. If the HR person has no issues they will set you up with a Zoom interview with the Area Manager, Aviation Manager, HR representative, and at least 2 medical folks from the base or area around the base you have applied for. During that interview ask any questions regarding the base, pilot housing, call volumn, or anything you are not sure of to them. If you have applied for a hospital base program you will have an additional Zoom interview with the representatives of the hospital. Hope this helps and good luck. |

I can't speak to this situation, but I was on the interview panel with RMH back in the day. We did both medical folks and pilots. |

(medcrew) involves participating in crew duties it makes sense to have a pilot on the interview board.
Pilot's do not participate in patient care...it makes no sense to have medical personnel on the interview board. |

Yeah, I guess you're right; having a pilot on the board to help gage what kind of "crewmember" (or problem) a medical person might be isn't at all helpful. |

It goes to their confidence in climbing in with this cowboy. I think if the company is happy they should be happy, but who cares what I think? The company thinks they like the hospital's money so there it is. |

Until regulations make passengers forbidden in the cockpit, this med crew dramma will never stop. Too many unqualified medical passengers influence ops and maintenance. It's a well known problem that has caused massive turnover in the industry everywhere. A medic or nurse does not belong in our business any more than we belong in the operating room. Plain and simple. Voice your concerns to the FAA when they visit. |

The FAA cares nothing about med crew drama. Their only purpose in life is to insure the company is abiding by the FARs, Opspec, and GOM. That's it. |

I think you failed to see the corolation... Med crew threatens pilot or mechanic with job (either directly or implicid) to short cut tasks or take a flight. The operator has joint liability if they knowingly allow it to happen. A good indicator is repeated turnover. |
