I worked and lived on a number of Apache's platforms back in the early 2000's. They were were crap holes then, I can't imagine what they are like now. Even then they were neglected, rusted, dirty, greasy...just nasty. You haven't lived until you've stayed on an Apache/Fieldwood platform with a bunch Boudreaux's from Cocodrie and Dulac and a paint crew full of ex-felons who just got paroled the weekend before they went offshore.
