Helping a friend out and went looking in a L4 flight manual I found online looking for a fuel burn chart for cruise vs max continous like I'm familar from the AS350 series and did not find anything in the manual.  Do I have a bad scanned in copy or does the L4 manual just not call out burn rate like that? She was told 35 gallons an hour.

are the same thing. 75%. 35-40 is a good guess.

Theres lots of variables that play out. Figure 40 an hour and you'll be golden that's what I do. The actual cruise is between 35-38. I've also never flown two ships exactly the same either.

helicopters. Two reasons: you called a helicopter a "ship" and then said there are a lot of variables. While true, they are insignificant and so not worth mentioning. You also said you never flew 2 that were the same and any moron with an ounce of sense knows this. Okay, three things. The "ship" thing was the most grievous offense. Hand in your sh*t and leave the building.

I mean we use knots and nautical miles. also air is considered a fluid so ship works for me. Maybe submarine? I'll stick with ship.

Sorry not familar with the 206 power settings at all.  The AS350 would call out a recommended NG to cruise at for best performance and the fuel burn associated with it at various altitudes/temps.  Then another chart if you wanted to pull max power in and the fuel burn associated with it at various temps/altitudes.  Could see a swing from 45 gph to 53 gph in an AS350B2

It's a 206. 75% is max continuous equals 35-40 GPH. It's not complicated.

Section 4, for fuel flow charts. (BHT-206L4-MD-1)

If you don't have one of those...you don't have an L4.
