Anyone ever work for two HAA companies at the same time? Full time at one and picking up open float type spots at another?

Not easy to do, and not likely condoned by your "primary" company.

2004-2008 A LOT has changed....ASK your primary employer about it, instead of asking on here....they might not sign off on it...

I know Air Methods does not allow it. You need permission to work for another company on your time off and it has to be documented in your AMC flight and duty log. Basically you they won't allow you to work for a competing company, pretty standard in business, but also they wan't you available for open shifts.

Why would you want to work straight time for a different company rather than time and a half at your primary company. I don't know of any HAA company that doesn't have boat loads of OT available.

Some companies are very small, and some companies have very limited numbers of certain aircraft.

At a previous job, I had almost no opportunity for overtime.   At my current one, I can work as much as I want.

We had an idiot working full time at AEL and Ft. Worth Childrens.  I think an FN got wind of it and ratted him out. He was fired by both the following day.

Med crews work back to back jobs, come on shift or go off shift in need of sleep in order to function, but that's okay. They couldn't care less about patient care, just the $$$ and the cool flying costumes they design.

Like working with junior high school children .... Sophomoric all (pretentious and juvenile).

Bet the FN loved being assigned hall-monitor duty!
