i really get a kick out of people posting answers to questions when they have no idea what they are talking about. Air Methods pays time and a half if you come in for training on a scheduled day off.
If you don’t know what you are talking about just crawl back to your corer and shut up. |

You're the jerk pilot that schedules his training on his week on.
Making someone else come in on his time off to cover you.
Yes we at AMC know which lazy useless pilots you are.
The same lazy useless pilots that don't pick up work over, help with mx, etc etc.
But some how get the same pay raise as the hard working pilots.
Thank Union... Oh wait... No thanks... |

then have a ball. Don't want and not required to train on your days off? Don't do it. Yes, thank the union for this. Tell me all about the "etc. etc." the "hard working" pilots do. |

Generally, your annual pay is based on 182.5 shifts. Training is not a Shift. That's why youbdo it EXTRA.

just posting again what i posted earlier but was deleted elsewhere--regarding soon-to-be 500 hour pilots at HAA companies....
i said that it was all about a race to the bottom, and that the future would be R-44's with Chinese Chick 90 pound pilots and Mex Chick 98 pound medics...give the patient a shot of whiskey and have a prayer before flopping and wopping to the nearest Band-Aid Station.
What's coming for America will make a Third-World Sh*t H*le look like cutting-edge tech.
These things need to be said but the JH mods don't like them. Hence we sneak them in like this.
Have a Nice Day. |

you're upset that you have to come in on YOUR days off to cover and yet you're also upset that the guy that went to training doesn't want to do it on HIS days off. Huh. That's seems... what's word...hypocritical? Also, it's the unions fault(?) you come in on your days off but, of course, YOU DON"T HAVE TO.
Some pilots like to work over, some don't. I wouldn't call anybody that is fullfilling their mutually agreed upon obligation to a company lazy. But oooooooh, you know who the are. lol |

For recurrent and sim Training whether it's on your normal hitch or off week. So, do it during your normal hitch if you want to, or do it on your off week for a little extra. |
