... vague and ambiguous, and doesn't say it definitively either way.  It probably says something like "the company reserves the right to remain in that position for 12 months..."

Nonetheless, you can BID everytime you see a position you with to transfer to, and the company can award it anytime and whenever they choose.

Company can choose to accept your bid and agree to the new position at anytime. they can and have granted early Delaware and transfers... if you aren't given it the company wants to blame the contract and union. not so, it's on the company and your manager so don't blame the union....

Union stole rights from members themselves to become exclusive arbitrary filer, an often decider pre-empotor deciders of grievances before any hearing is conducted or system board decisions are made.   IOWs, you have no rights to a grievance unless the union's good ole boy network files it.

Union rights those who have been wronged, not there to right someones intentional and flagrant wrongdoings and pot stirring. If you made a mistake own it, the union defends and mitigates but the union also believes in personal accountability and fulfills its legal obligations to fair representation. That's why the union is stronger and on a winning streak! The union doesn't waste money it's good ole system ways of the last and they invest back in the members by creating programs to completely offset the cost of dues paid. WINNING!

Stop complaining, The majority voted to accept the CBA.  If you don't like it then get involved the next time.

Interesting about helicopter pilots, bitch about union representation and encourage distrust.  There is an active transition path to the airlines for rotorheads to the airlines.  Wonder if you are planning on bitching about ALPA once you strap yourself into the airline seat?  It has been working great for their pilots.

I don't know an airline pilot that would consider employment without ALPA.
