The med crews are crazy. The mechanics are lazy. And both groups judge how good a pilot is, not on his skills, but whether he's nice. |

No, not ever. They are professional sensitive equipment operators. They do not clean the windshields either. They do not add oil when it's low. They do not fuel their own aircraft.
The are paid for what they know and what they are capable of doing in an emergency. All the others are paid for what they can do. Serve, maintain, clean and service.
Just because you drive the jiffy john cleanout truck at the airport does not mean you work in "aviation"! |

Of course I clean up after myself. What I do not do is perform tasks that are the responsibility of hired personnel. Like add oils, and clean up the aft cabin. |

yup. The flying's the easy part. The people part can often be really hard to deal with. Just part of the game. Like the guy above said, most of the time, if not all, med crew are NOT your friends. Just treat them courteously, fly your line in accordance with the regs, and most importantly, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING (good or bad). |
