How I got my start, made over $175K after the 4 year mark, And over that now. Sure gone a lot, but have no debt, more skill set then I'd gain anywhere else, and ontop of all that, I will never have to be a pathetic EMS pilot, which to me is the most satisfying thing in my career so far. At 41 I feel like it was quite rewarding And worth all the time away. |

How out of the utility world you are....this is quite average for working 300+ days a year @ $550 a day plus $75 Flight hour. average flight time is 600ish hours a year with the most being 1270. you do the math wannabe. |

I got my start at Haverfield. I was hired at $375 a day, and I left at $575 a day. My best year was $148,000ish after taxes. So the above poster isn't far off. Granted I've been gone for a very long time, I can only imagine it being better now. Being away from home was the hardest about the gig, but for the single on the road life, it's quite easy to clear $200,000K |

Fully checked out at Haverfield on day rate is $650 per day. Quiet a bit less than what you can make elsewhere but it gets you started. |
