What company in GMR has a collective bargaining agreement? Are they happy with it? How do we make it bigger and str to benifit everyone?

No troll. True question. I work for MTC and have seen wording of the CBA but whom does it apply to? I know the Reach guys get paid better but are they the only CBA, if they are a union? Again, is it worth it?

Before Mtc, I worked for a union company and it protected the lazy people but the benefits and pay were great. 

I have also seen a company go union and pay more for worst benefit.

I'm not sure that you work for MTC, or you're just trying to stir the pot. If you were, you would know that none of the GMR aviation companies has a union. You would also know that the OPEIU has attempted to unionize the companies several times without success.

All of the GMR aviation companies have the same pay scale. The pilots pay was increased by over 10% this last year to bring it higher than most of the industry. REACH does pay more for the bases in Californi, because of the California pay rules.

You should also know that the OPEIU made a mess at AMC and PHI.

Do your homework and see what the union can really guarantee you beyond having to pay union dues.

Please note that employees covered under a collective-bargaining agreement will follow those guidelines as set forth. If there are other holidays not listed that employees wish to observe, they may submit a request for time off to observe that particular holiday. All current policies regarding other time off and compensation will remain in effect. 

That's what makes me curious

OPEIU has NEVER tried to organize MTC. Fact is MTC, AEL, and REACH pilots have a newly formed effort to organize with OPEIU and under the 109 because of how good things are looking in the 109. those are the facts. AMC has higher pay and better benefits than any of the GMR companies! Without the union ( specifically 109) that's exactly where AMC would be, if not lower!

Not visa versa. 109 is OPEIU. OPEIU is the union with locals. Each local is a separate entity under the OPEIU. Why would Local 109 try to incorporate a whole separate class and craft under its AMC Pilot's local? Why wouldn't those other groups not want their OWN local governmental structure, with their OWN executive board and financials? Why would they want to jumble up their existence in a Railway Labor Act system? They wouldn't unless someone in the 109 was trying to organize them themselves.

It would be dumb for 5hem to organize under under another local. Just ask CareFlite pilots, who are used to fund the PHI bubbas who don't even know CareFlite exists (other than the dues money they get from them)

One president, one financial report, one EIN number, one big MESS!

Why have a merged entity under one local when each could easily have their own?

Anyone promoting a combined local under an RLA class and craft is simply numbskull to thing tbe members benefit from such!

GMR is not just Med-Trans, Reach, AEL. GMR includes non air companies such as fire services, AMR ambulance and more. It's entirely possible one of the subsidiaries of GMR is union. They have integrated into One GMR so HR, IT systems are the same across all companies. However, none of the air companies have a union.

Finally someone that actually knows what they are talking about. BTW not all AMR Ops have unions just specific areas. And get ready for more GMR acquisitions in 2021 especially on the air side. 1 already done but yet to be announced which will add more to the air fleet.
