gets eclipsed, morphed, changed, and upgraded by unexpected developments.
If you're involved in the industry stay up with developments and your potential position to be involved. |

Look at the insurance from AOPA, check website for insurance info and also what CFI coverage is included. Not too bad. |

The way I see it we should start looking for new jobs. Changes in heathcare will kill air medical services! |

I don't think the big hospitals will give up their air programs, as that is used to bring in patients whose medical bills will be quite substantial. The Airline Deregulation Act prevents the government from putting price controls on other air transports, so there isn't any reason for the independent/community-based locations to charge less, so there isn't much of a reason for them to close up shop based solely on changes to healthcare regulations.
On the other hand, if the Airline Deregulation Act is changed so that it doesn't apply to aeromedical services, and price regulations follow, I would expect a lot of AS350s and Bell 206/407s to hit the market.
Or, I could be wrong. |

on the situation. Pilots may still be required to deal with unforeseen variables, especially with people on board. Cargo, probably a good thing, passengers, probably not a good thing. |
