Yes. Check AOPA Insurance and the higher rate includes commercial flying and CFIs. |

I wonder if AOPA insurance for CFIs in cases like Kobe Bryant would even matter. The money in those law suits will be in the 100s of millions. I think you are best to be a CFI under the umbrella of a professional company where the company lawyers will represent you FREE. That alone is worth probably $25K |
