A preferred provider agreement That CHS never enforced was terminated. Their facilities used whoever they wanted whenever they wanted regardless of the agreement (Amc, mt, ael, etc) The end of the agreement doesn't mean that AMC lost the facilities or lost the states it just means that they don't have a preferred provider agreement with Air Methods. The hospitals can still call whoever they want because they've been doing it all along anyway |

AMC has been run out of FL over the past 3 years....Tampa. Miami. Key West. Jacksonville. Panhandle. Who's next? What great business directors they have down in the SE. MORE bases and programs LOST than any other region and still the same person running the show....right into the ground. |

There was no business in Miami or Keyu West, so they left. The business in those places were taken by government agencies, one with a legit operation, the other not. But, no real (legit) competition ran them out of those locations. |

The only person that ran AMC out of key west was their program director and their inability to spin things into amc's favor. By the time they did anything, it was too late. |

OP stated that bases is in Key West, Miami, Tampa, panhandle, and Jacksonville have all closed???? clearly you don't know how to read a map. Jacksonville still in service going strong, Tampa still in service going strong, multiple bases in the panhandle in-service going strong. So you're talking about Key West and Miami both of which were in areas that have strong county governments that forced the private entity out. Please tell me where are you getting your information..... Must be the "MedTrans owns FL" guy who has yet to seen any of his rumors come to fruition |
