Remember to put the frictions on before you jump out.

Bring it to a hover if you can, assuming you aren't going to 12 or 13 grand. Most jumpers will like a zero airspeed exit because they have no relative wind and the first 5 or 6 seconds of freefall are fun due to the inability to control yourself, until you get a little airspeed to work with. Balloon jumps are even more fun cause it's quiet. Axx over tea kettle, big fun. Please make sure they are aware that lost objects out the door are a mite more serious in a helicopter. Take out the duals if you can, peddals too. Just cause they jump out of airplanes doesn't mean they know anything about them. If you are hot loading jumpers have a reliable person watch them carefully. Wiggling around with a harness and container on makes for more things to get snagged and let's face it, civilian helicopters were not designed so people can easily jump assuming they have to start sitting with a seat belt. If you are lucky and have a 212 or similar configuration where people can sit with legs dangling just don't get busted because nobody had a seat belt on for takeoff. Do your wt. And balance. Most sport gear weighs 20 to 25 lbs and beware....they all have tiny cameras now so all you do will be recorded for review after the incident. Jump pilots are not required to wear an emergency rig but there is a requirement to have one in the aircraft should the need arise. We all know you would never be able to put it on so if you can wear one, I would and have someone show you how to deploy it in the event your day takes a turn for the scary. Have fun, the party after sunset is usually good. If you are a low time Robinson pilot, you are over your head and should walk away.

Tough to read with no spaces, indentatations, margins. Break it into sentences, paragraphs.

Nothing is more important than developing your semi-intelligible rapid fire signature radio call before the big show. It warrants careful consideration. Put in the time.

It's critical when you dump 'em at FL10 that everyone in a tri-state area understands just how awesome and clever you are. And don't waste that valuable air time on trivial matters like where the hell you're at...ya gotta express that comedic genius, dawg!

Straight and level, 90 to 100 knots. Don't know your airframe or anticipated altitude  ... I've released jumpers from from UH-1's and Chinooks, from 1,200 to 20,000 feet. Expect a CG change, but nothing dramatic. Move away from the area before descending. Know how many jumpers and try to get a visual on the chutes and keep them in sight. Good memories of the Fort Bragg jump club many years ago. I was a member and both flew and jumped. I got two AH-1 jumps logged before Uncle Sam decided riding on the ammo bay doors wasn't safe. :(

1st one I ever did was out of Jet Ranger. We rehearsed over and over so that there would not be a dramtic CG shift from one side. Had comms and evertything and they still did their own thing. Three guys bailed on the right side, leaving myself and the jumpmaster sitting behind me.

Got very sporty for a few seconds.

Did it later out if a UH1 and 212, not as much of an issue, but communication and a good jumpmaster is key!

Hover over the water quite a bit higher than normal where they won't want to jump in case they hurt themselves and yell; "Oh My God, we're all gonna die", that gets them out fast.

Then land on the beach they are swimming too and stand on the shore and yell; "OMG, SHARK, SHARK". It's the best fun you'll have all day.

Get paid or at least get a credit card before they jump.
